Codeman was born in 1989 in Lagos where he grew up and went to primary and secondary school, he had a stint at Abuja where he recorded a couple of singles that gain massive airplay on radio and the internet, he presently resides in Lagos, he is managed by G-Money Entertainment, Codeman calls his unique style of music Urban Ghetto Dance that stands him out from the crowd. his inspiration comes from the environment he grew up in Lagos.
